We LOVE knowing every ingredient that goes into our products to ensure that they're safe to use. Some mascaras use toxic ingredients, which could irritate or even infect your eye. But don't worry- we're here to help! Click here to see our favorite non-toxic mascaras, or follow the recipe below to make your own!

What you’ll need:
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp shea butter
1 1/2 tsp beeswax pellets
4 tsp aloe vera gel
1-2 capsules activated charcoal
Empty mascara tube and small funnel

What you'll do:
1. Add coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax pellets and aloe vera gel to a small saucepan and heat until completely melted.
2. Mix in activated charcoal and remove from the heat.
3. Pour mixture into glass container and let cool for a bit.
4. Slowly pour mixture through the funnel and into the mascara tube.

Note: because this mascara is all-natural and contains no preservatives, it lasts 3-6 months. Dispose after that time or if the scent changes overtime.

Your eyes deserve the best, so use a mascara they'll love!

Love, Loma
